How to Use the Latitude iPhone 7/6/6s Universal Wireless Charging Case with Your Toyota’s In-car Wireless Charger
Share
BEZALEL’s Latitude case for the iPhone is designed to work seamlessly with the in-car wireless charging system in your Toyota vehicle. Models equipped with wireless charging include the 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018:
- Prius Three
- Prius Three Touring
- Prius Four
- Prius Four Touring
- Prius Prime
- Camry XLE
- Camry XSE
- Avalon XLE Premium
- Avalon Touring
- Tacoma TRD Sport
- Tacoma TRD Off-Road
- Tacoma Limited
- Land Cruiser
The charging pad in these vehicles includes only one transmitter, the charging spot. To power up, place your Latitude encased iPhone precisely on the charging spot.
*While the Latitude works seamlessly with the Q transmitter, the current wireless charging pad in every vehicle model is too small to accommodate the iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6 Plus and 6s Plus (or any similarly large handset). This issue does not affect users with smaller handsets such as the iPhone 7, 6 and 6s.
Here's how it works:
For 2015/2016/2017/2018 Toyota Avalon the wireless charging pad is integrated into the ebin lid just above the gear selector. To start charging, press the Qi wireless charger switch beneath the lid. Then place your iPhone 7/6/6s on the pad. Make sure there's nothing between your smartphone and the bottom of the tray. An amber indicator will light up when charging is in progress. Unfortunately, the charging pad in these vehicles is too small to accommodate the larger iPhone 7 Plus/6 Plus/6s Plus handsets.
For 2015/2016/2017/2018 Toyota Camry the wireless charging pad is located in the center console tray above the gear selector. To access the charger, simply press the panel lid and open the cover. Then press the Qi wireless charger switch and place your iPhone 7/6/6s on the pad. An amber indicator will light up when charging is in progress. Unfortunately, the charging pad in these vehicles is too small to accommodate the larger iPhone 7 Plus/6 Plus/6s Plus handsets.
For 2016/2017 Toyota Tacoma the wireless charging pad is located in the center console above the gear selector. To start charging, press the Qi wireless charger switch located just above the charging bin. Then simply setting your phone in the mobile charging tray. Make sure there's nothing between your smartphone and the bottom of the tray. An amber indicator will light up when charging is in progress.
For 2016/2017/2018 Toyota Prius, 2017/2018 Prius Prime the wireless charging pad is located behind the gear selector. To start charging, simply press the Qi wireless charger switch and place your iPhone 7/6/6s on the pad. An amber indicator will light up when charging is in progress. Make sure there are no objects between the phone and the tray as they may interfere with charging. Unfortunately, the charging pad in these vehicles is too small to accommodate the larger iPhone 7 Plus/6 Plus/6s Plus handsets.

The charger is so slow; it went up 9% in 2 hours Am I doing something wrong or are they that slow? I have an Antye case; are there better cases
I want to buy the 2017 Prius Prime and need the adapter for the iPhone 6 plus what do I buy?
Hi Vincent. Unfortunately the iPhone 7 Plus will not be able to work on the charging pad in 2017 Prius Prime due to its physical size. This issue doesn’t affect the smaller iPhone 7. For the iPhone 5, we are afraid that we don’t carry the case for it.
I just bought a 2017 Prius Prime, and I need to use its Qi wireless charging device to charge two different types of iPhone, iPhone 5 and iPhone 7 Plus. Could you advice if you have available device to serve for my purpose?
