How to Use the Latitude iPhone 7/6/6s Universal Wireless Charging Case with Your GM's In-car Wireless Charger
Share
BEZALEL’s Latitude case for the iPhone is designed to work seamlessly with the in-car wireless charging system in your GM vehicle. Models equipped with wireless charging include the 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018:
- GMC Yukon Denali
- GMC Yukon XL
- GMC Sierra
- GMC Canyon
- GMC Arcadia
- Chevrolet Silverado
- Chevrolet Suburban
- Chevrolet Tahoe
- Chevrolet Colorado
- Chevrolet Camaro
- Chevrolet Malibu
- Chevrolet Impala
- Chevrolet Volt
- Chevrolet Cruze
- Chevrolet Bolt EV
- Chevrolet Equinox
The charging pad in these vehicles includes only one transmitter, the charging spot. To power up, place your Latitude encased iPhone precisely on the charging spot.
*While the Latitude works seamlessly with the Qi transmitter, current wireless charging pads in the most of car models are too small to accommodate the iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6 Plus and 6s Plus (or any similarly large handset). This issue does not affect users with smaller handsets like the iPhone 7, 6 and 6s.
Here's how it works:
For 2015/2016/2017/2018 GMC Yukon/Denali/Sierra/Canyon, Chevrolet Tahoe/Silverado/Suburban/Colorado the wireless charging pad is located in the center console. Place your iPhone 7/6/6s on the pad with the top of the handset toward the back of the vehicle. Unfortunately, the charging pad in these vehicles is too small to accommodate the larger iPhone 7 Plus/6 Plus/6s Plus handsets.
For 2016/2017/2018 Chevrolet Camaro the wireless charging pad is located in the backseat right behind the center armrest. Place your iPhone 7/6/6s on the pad with the top of the handset toward the driver's side. Unfortunately, the charging pad in the Camaro is too small to accommodate the larger iPhone models: iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 6 Plus/6s.
For 2016/2017/2018 Chevrolet Volt the wireless charging pad is located in a vertical slot inside the center console behind the cup holders. Place your iPhone 7/6/6s in upside down position. In new vehicles, the rubber sleeve tends to be a bit stiff, so you may need to gently push the handset into the slot to make a wireless connection (the rubber will eventually become more pliable, like a pair of new shoes).
For 2016/2017/2018 Chevrolet Malibu, Chevrolet Cruze the wireless charging pad is located in a vertical slot in the center console behind the gear control. Place your iPhone 7/6/6s in upside down position. In new vehicles, the rubber sleeve tends to be a bit stiff, so you may need to gently push the handset into the slot to make a wireless connection (the rubber will eventually become more pliable, like a pair of new shoes).

It sucks that 2017 gmc serria charging pad is too small to fit the 6plus or 8 plus iPhones, you would think that new of models would accommodate the larger phone.
I can’t seem to get my bezalel to work very good in my Chevy Equinox. Every once in a while I get the little lightening bolt to show up but it disappears right away. Is it suppose to show up all the time? I’m having a very hard time. Please help! I have an iPhone 7.
If this is going to be a built in feature, I recommend that Chevy figure out a way for this feature to accommodate the the I phone 6splus and all phones of this larger size since so many people carry this size phone
This works fine, but the phone has to be placed on the charging pad before the engine is turned on.
