Interview with Raquel Rojas

The birth of BEZALEL came from a successful Kickstarter project and evolved into what it is today. BEZALEL certainly understands the entrepreneurial spirit burgeoning in creative individuals who strive to make their dreams a reality.

Meet actress and creative force, Raquel Rojas. She’s making a name for herself in Los Angeles and kicking butt on social media. She's also thrilled to model with BEZALEL's wireless chargers. We caught up with Raquel to gain insight and share her tips on how one can turn dreams into a reality. Check it out:

What is your full name?
Raquel Rojas

iPhone or Android?
iPhone forever

Where is the coolest place you’ve traveled?
I would say the Amazonian jungle in Venezuela and Patagonia in Argentina.

Tell us about yourself, what you do?
I’m a bilingual actress based in L.A. I also create content for different fashion brands.

How long have you been modeling?
Probably about 2/3 years. Brands started to reach out to me because they liked my style and the way I communicated with my followers.

What is a simple and brief advice you’d give to youngsters?
Adolescence is hard. It will happen. Trust your gut and don’t quit that pastime you love.

What are some of your strengths that helped you in your career?
I think I’m very genuine and authentic. I have a very self deprecation humor and overall I just try to work and collaborate in projects that really resonate with me.

What is your proudest achievement?
I worked with Amnesty International for a campaign to stop violence in Venezuela and I was involved in several campaigns for animal rescue and conservation in the US.

Where would you like to be in five years?
Acting and traveling. So many places to go. So many roles to do.

What’s the number one tip you can give to anyone wanting to follow your career path?
It’s hard. Many people will reject you but keep going. Work on your craft and also have a side project or something that you love as much as acting/modeling.

What are you currently working on? Any cool new projects?
I’m about to shoot a couple short films, and I’m waiting to shoot some of my favorite brands. More coming soon :)

Where can people find you (website, social media links, etc.)?
On Twitter, Instagram and Facebook I’m always @rachirojas. I’m hoping to start a YouTube channel soon.
